Ideal Getaway for Outdoor Activity - Beach Buggy

Built by qualified Tour Guide Deon Van Schalkwyk the vintage Beach Buggy has become an icon of Paternoster.

Deon starts his tailor-made tour at Farr Out Guesthouse at the outskirts of the village and gives away part of the interesting history of the fishermen's community. The dirt tracks from Paternoster bay over to Duikereiland are leading through thick sand and dunes and you will feel a little bit of adrenalin coming up. Along the way you might even be lucky to watch playful dolphins and whales in the ocean or Duiker, Steenbok, Secretary Bird, tortoises, snakes and more on terra-firma.

Please note the Beach Buggy is NOT a 4X4, but be surprised where this vintage car is able to take you!

You may get stuck… but don't worry, there is always a way out!

Beach Buggy Fun
We had a great morning with Deon and his old beach buggy. After a warm welcome from Marion and a photo session with the illusion chair we headed off into Paternoster and then on down the coast towards St Helena with Deon. Great views and interesting history. Well worth it while visiting Paternoster. The guest house and teepee look great as well for an overnight stay.

Wonderful Stay in Paternoster
Farr Out Guesthouse is a lovely place to stay while visiting the West Coast & in particular, Paternoster. The accommodation is great with everything you need for a comfy stay. The hosts, Marion & Deon are lovely people with lots of knowledge of the area & many interesting stories to tell. We enjoyed the delicious continental breakfasts & forays into the village for dinner.
