A Lovely and unique experience!

We had a lovely stay at Farr Out and I was very impressed with the exclusiveness of the guesthouse and with the owners as well.
Marion welcomed us and I was really impressed with the luxuriousness of the rooms, bedding, doors etc!!
The room was picture perfect with the extra touch of loose flowers on the heart folded towels....even in the bathroom basin.
Absolutely LOVED the cool sliding door and windows that can be safely opened while locked!
Breakfast was delicious; also with some exclusive foods, and breads. Just outside of Paternoster, it's quiet and peaceful, but near enough to have dinner in town.
We'll see you again!!

Dear Marion and Deon
We are back in Johannesburg and start work tomorrow.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay in Paternoster.
The accommodation is 5 star – everything has been taken care of and the unit lacks nothing.
Deon, the breakfast prepared was delicious – you are a good cook.
Marion you and Deon are awesome hosts – imparting your knowledge of the area and what to see and do.
We will be back.

We would also like to return a great thank you to you for a wonderful and hospitable stay at your B&B.....Without a doubt will it stay in our memory books for ever, wish we could enjoy Paternoster every weekend, but without the "snakes", LOL😊.

We would highly recommend your B&B to everyone we know without a doubt. Based on our observation, you have everything in place Marion, and if your guests require assistance with luxury/necessary equipment(such as a microwave), you are most willing to assist.

A special treat
Was great to return to Farr Out 5 years later and it was even better. Highlights of our stay were the beach buggy adventure with Deon and an evening under the stars in the hot tub. The big advantage of Farr Out is being 5 mins away from the tourist bustle of Paternoster - close enough to find a good place to eat but away from the noise etc. The garden and birdlife is wonderful. The room met all our needs and breakfast on the stoep was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.
And a lovely addition is the brewery within walking distance.

Wow...where does one start when you've had such a magical stay all round with amazing hosts. Marion and Deon are so proud of their beautiful guest house and that is seen in the stunning decor and layout of the rooms (and probably one of the best showers I've had in a LONG time), to the yummy home cooked English breakfast (and I have never seen poached eggs cooked that perfectly) to the wonderful hot tub experience, and ending off with the bucket list MUST do beach buggy safari with Deon. His knowledge on the area and fauna and flora is incredible.
Farr Out Guesthouse is a wonderful, owner run and managed establishment that is worth more than the highest rating. Thank you for such a special stay....I wish it was more than just 1 night but we WILL be back.

Wow, is all we can say! Unfortunately we could only spend one night there due to them being fully booked for the long weekend, no surprises their. Very friendly and well informed hosts, excellent ability to read their guests and guide us in directions to our culinary and interest tastes. Would highly recommend, we will be back! Deon and Marion are diamonds in the industry. Well done!

Farr outweighed my expectations

This guesthouse was a remarkable find for us. Owned and run by Marion & Deon,
the accommodation and surroundings are superb. The bedroom (black oyster) was fitted with everything a traveling person would want, plus many extras. Linen and accessories were better than my own at home!. The dining and sitting areas were furnished with lovely quirky things. The hosts were able to produce a beautiful continental breakfast, despite the Load shedding. Covid 19 rules were in place and we felt extremely safe.

The gardens were full of spring colour and the plants were taken through to the accommodation. Deon was very happy to share his Bird knowledge with us. He also offers guided tours etc.

I would love to return and spend more than 1 night. Thank you Marion & Deon for a delightful stay.
